As the sun sets in Israel on Wednesday, the 2nd of October 2024, the Feast of Trumpets begins (according to the Hallel Calendar). During this same time, an annular solar eclipse that is being referred to as a “Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse” will appear in the heavens. Notably, the eclipse on October 2nd will not be visible in the continental United States or Israel because the eclipse’s path will be entirely over the Pacific Ocean. However, we need to be watchful of this sign in the heavens because it is marking something significant.
Personally, I have experienced Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) grieving over His unfaithful bride for months. It has intensified the last two weeks. Most believers don’t even know that they are being unfaithful to their Bridegroom because they have justified what they are doing, thinking that they are pleasing Him. The story of Israel is a lesson in God’s ways: “When He cared for them they ignored Him, but when he began to kill them, ending their lives in a moment, they came running back to God, pleading for mercy. They remembered that God, the Mighty One, was their strong protector, the Hero-God who would come to their rescue. But their repentance lasted only as long as they were in danger; they lied through their teeth to the true God of the Covenant. So quickly they wandered away from His promises, following God with their words and not their hearts! Their worship was only flattery. But amazingly, God – so full of compassion – still forgave them. He covered over their sin with His love, refusing to destroy them all. Over and over He held back His anger, restraining wrath to show them mercy” (Psalms 78:34-38 TPT). Let us sincerely love and trust the Mighty One of Israel, living lives to please only Him.
So, the Hallel Calendar marks the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) starting tomorrow at sundown on October 2 and going through sundown October 4, 2024. It is definitely not a coincidence that a Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse will appear in the heaven over the Pacific Ocean when the Feast of Trumpets kicks off. Notice that I do not call the Feast of Trumpets – Rosh HaShana (New Year) – because a New Year being celebrated in the seventh month comes from Babylon. There are many calendars. The Lord has told me that all of man’s marks-of-time are off, and to be led of the Lord as to which one to go by. Some people go by the Early Barley Calendar. Most Jewish people go by the Hallel Calendar, which is the calendar my family has been led to observe to act as a One New Man bridge. Blessings to all who sincerely celebrate God’s feasts (listed in the Bible), as unto the Lord. Know that what holy days (holidays) we celebrate is one determinant on whether we will be part of His faithful Bride, or His unfaithful one.
